  1. I am wondering how you selected your artists… there are so many artists in the Central region including the Sculptors’ Association of Alberta, The Artists’ Association of Beaumont, Harcourt House Art Centre to mention a few.

This is exactly how we select artists! By people telling us about MORE studios… Thanks! We did send out requests for information to most of Alberta’s Chamber of Commerce offices…and then used the AFA lists and Alberta Arts Council lists. What started out as trying to locate ‘artists in studios’ has evolved to artist run centres and artist collectives and personal galleries. The map on the ‘app’ has many more listings than the website…as travelers use smart phones…
We will list any artist/art studio/art walk/art collective!

AND in 2014/2015 we trekked to many locations to talk with ‘organizations’ – if you have an organization in mind that might want to know more let us know and we will being the tea and cookies 🙂
